A Different Kind of Access
"The Worx" is a brand new employment centre concept, designed specifically to increase access to job search support tools and services for persons with disabilities. "The Worx", a Prospect project, has been designed around our fundamental belief that all people are better off working. Because we understand that persons with disabilities are often challenged by the limitations of traditional technologies and infrastructures during their job search, "The Worx" has been loaded with all the assistive technologies we could think of. In addition to the building being completely accessible, clients can access everything from large format keyboards and zoom text magnifiers to sound enhancers and text reading devices. "The Worx" also offers labour market exchange, work search and career planning information support. Get into the workforce today by starting with "The Worx"!
